About Us

The Environmental Film Network (EFN) is a volunteer organizing group that screens films for the public on environmental and social issues in order to inspire and empower our viewers. The EFN network is a made up of individual audience members, supporting organizations, filmmakers and local experts.

These quality, award winning films are brought to Thunder Bay, free of charge through the financial support of our sponsoring members.

(January 2012) Films are now shown monthly (usually the 3rd Wednesday of the month) from September to June and a larger film festival format is planned every year.

The 2012 Film Festival is now over and the link to it can be found here:

Hello,
Green Communities Canada, an Ontario Environment Network member, has a new Facebook page. I would like to invite you to follow us for major news about our environmental and capacity development programs, and our 30 member organizations located across Canada.

Our joint programs, using a community-based social marketing approach, focus on home energy (retrofits) and affordable energy; water (groundwater and stormwater runoffs); walkable communities; fuel efficiency for cars, pesticides.

EcoSuperior is one of our member organisations.

Hello Rose,

Re. Environmental Film Network (EFN)
You screened my documentary “And This Is My Garden” during your 2011 Film Festival and it would be much appreciated if there were links to films screened during EFN on your web-site.

I would like to suggest some ecology & food related films to EFN which I recently saw during the “Slow Motion Food Film Festival in Wolfville, NS, where my doc also screened.
